Health & Safety
At Ryjock we take Health & Safety very seriously. Ryjock commits to operating in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work (etc) Act 1974, The Management of Health & Safety Regulations 1999 and all other applicable regulations and codes of practice, so far as is reasonably practicable.
We employ external advisors to help us comply with all the latest Health & Safety Regulations and as required prior to commencing on site, we will provide all the necessary risk assessments, method statements and COSHH certificates.
We are members of the CFA (Contract Flooring Association), Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), Constructionline and are NHS approved. Ryjock ensures all its operatives hold a CITB CSCS Health & Safety Card and have fully understood all aspects of our Company policies. We also insist our workers have obtained all other necessary qualifications including NVQ’s, Health and Safety training, asbestos awareness training and face fit testing.
It is part of Ryjock’s policy to ensure that all work is performed in the safest practicable manner and consistent with good practice. The Health & Safety of our operatives & employees and all those likely to be affected by our operations is the responsibility of our site supervisors, and as a priority, it ranks above productivity and profit. Adequate resources will always be made available to ensure that these guidelines are adhered to. All our operatives & employees are aware that they will receive full supervised support if they reasonably choose the safety of employees or third parties as a priority over the demands in production.
