Henry Boot Construction were appointed for the £15.8m renovation of the University of Leicester’s Brookfield campus.
The School of Business was established in 2016 to bring together expertise in economics and management. The campus incorporates teaching and social learning spaces.
Under the scheme, the 20th-century extension was removed and replaced with an architecturally sympathetic gabled building, which accommodates a new lecture theatre and seminar rooms.
The University’s investment at Brookfield is part of a transformative campus wide £500 million programme of investment set tol improve student facilities as well as public spaces over the next decade. The ambition is to create an environment that truly supports teaching, research and an unrivalled student experience.
